“I’m not sure this lonesome Ashe Juniper ever would have guessed that someone would come visit and stare at it for so many hours. But I did. Horse fly bites, fire ants, burrs and cactus didn’t deter me. Neither did the Texas sun. It was all worth it. So I’ll do more. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy this one. Also, I got to see an occasional horseback rider; some days I didn’t see a soul. I saw many varieties of birds, including buzzards, hawks, roadrunners and turkeys; and some deer. Lots of grasshoppers, butterflies, and dung beetles!”
