"In 1 Kings chapter 18, you can read how Elijah was given supernatural ability by God, running faster than a chariot. My wife told me today this one was already complete, so I deferred to her judgement. I’ve not been so sure. This piece will look strong on top of a dark gray or black mat, or off white, then framed. The polygonal shape pleases me; I cut it like that right off the ream. It can be squared in the frame, or framed funky. I think the world could use some more odd shaped frames than a rectangle all the time. But hey, either way will look sharp.
This is kind of a cavelike piece; fitting, it’s made by a cave-like human."
